Under the direction of the Care Coordinator and in collaboration with the hospice team, the In-Home Visiting Volunteer builds supportive relationships that contribute to the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of the palliative individual and/or family member in their home. Volunteers will spend short periods of time on a weekly basis providing basic support of those in need. Tasks may include: visiting in either the home or our residence, reading to individuals, providing warm blankets, bringing cups of tea, etc.
COMMITMENT OF TIME: Shifts averaging 2-4 hours per week
